2024 One Music Fest Celebrates R&B Excellence

One Music Fest celebrated its 15th anniversary in Atlanta where it was jam-packed with people from across the nation to share their love for the city of Atlanta, its culture, and most importantly music. The festival grounds covered a large portion of Central Park in downtown Atlanta, with a layout of three different sponsored stages; P&G, Sprite, and Toyota. Each were set up to showcase a diverse lineup of talent throughout the day.

From timeless music legends, such as Earth Wind & Fire, to rising stars Jade Novah and Fridayy, One Music Fest created an atmosphere for all ages to vibe and create new memories with friends and family.
As the crowd walked the festival grounds you could hear the excitement of each fan anticipating and discussing their schedule of events for each artist. Just to name a few: Destin Conrad performed early in the day and displayed engaging conversation with his fans as he sang “In The Air.” Conrad had the crowd singing word for word with him.
Ari Lennox showed up and showed out! Despite her technical difficulties with the sound. Ari didn’t let that stop her from catering to her shea butter baby lovers. The fans continued to shout their love out for the artist and encouraged her to keep singing with and without the music.

One Music Fest offered an eclectic mix of sounds that catered to fans of all genres and generations. The soulful artist Fantasia, sang some of her old-time favorite singles “Free Yourself” and “When I See You,” and added a tribute to Tina Turner in the mix.

The star-studded Victoria Monet headlined for an unforgettable performance to open up for Latto aka “Big Mama.” Her scene was set up as a jungle with the greenery planted between her band members. She opened her set with “Alright” dressed in hats and trench coats. Showcasing music from her most recent album Jaguar II Deluxe, and he hit single “On My Mama,” Monet catered to her fans with lots of energy and charisma.
Whether you were swaying to the nostalgic grooves of classic hits or discovering new favorites, the festival offered something for everyone. It solidified its place as a cornerstone in Atlanta’s music scene, leaving fans eagerly awaiting for next year’s festivities.
