The Millennium Tour was a night filled with nostalgia, energy, and unforgettable moments. As you approached the Toyota Center, the atmosphere was electric. Fans showed up in full early-2000s fashion—spray-painted tees, oversized clothing, and colorful accessories—fully embracing the era. Groups of friends played songs from the featured artists on their phones, taking selfies and hyping each other up. It truly felt like stepping into a time machine.
The show began promptly with Nivea, who hit the stage, radiating confidence. She performed fan favorites like “Don’t Mess with My Man” and “Complicated,” immediately drawing the crowd to their seats, singing along word for word. The energy only escalated as the Ying Yang Twins, Plies, Rick Ross, and Boosie took turns commanding the stage with their iconic hits. The crowd responded with roaring enthusiasm, reliving the golden age of 2000s hip-hop.
Then it was time to switch gears into R&B mode, and the RSVP set was an undeniable highlight. Featuring Ray J, Bobby V, Sammie, and Pleasure P, this segment felt like a live Verzuz event. Ray J opened with classics like “Wait a Minute” and “Sexy Can I,” followed by Sammie, who delivered smooth performances of “You Should Be My Girl” and his timeless hit “I Like It.” Bobby V kept the momentum going with a medley of tracks, including “Slow Down,” “Anonymous,” and “Like a Cop Car,” keeping the audience on their feet.

Pleasure P stole the spotlight with powerful renditions of “I Did You Wrong” and the fan-favorite “Boyfriend #2.” At one point, he brought fans onstage to compete for his attention, resulting in one woman doing the splits—sending the audience into a frenzy. It was a moment no one will forget. Ray J then returned to perform “I Wish” from the stands, surrounded by fans who danced, sang along, and even reached for his mic—reminiscent of the chaos and joy of the legendary Scream Tour.
As the night progressed, Bow Wow hit the stage to deafening cheers. He was clearly one of the main draws of the night, and he didn’t disappoint. His set was a hit parade, including summer anthems like “Take Ya Home,” “Bounce With Me,” and “Like You.” The entire experience felt like a live episode of 106 & Park, complete with nostalgia and crowd participation.
Omarion followed with a high-energy set full of choreography, production, and charisma. A standout moment was his performance of “Touch,” during which he recreated the iconic video choreography with his dancers. He also treated the crowd to hits like “O,” “Entourage,” and “Ice Box,” and even took fans down memory lane with a B2K medley, cleverly mixed with nods to R&B legends like Usher. He closed with the crowd-pleaser “Post to Be,” keeping the energy sky-high.
Trey Songz closed the night in classic fashion. As the DJ played the intro to “Panty Droppa” from his Ready album, the crowd erupted in excitement. The ladies in the audience screamed like it was 2009 all over again. Trey delivered hit after hit—“I Need a Girl,” “Neighbors Know My Name,” “Can’t Help But Wait,” “Dive In,” and more—with nothing but a mic and a spotlight. His presence and vocals wrapped the night in the perfect blend of passion and nostalgia.
The Millennium Tour wasn’t just a concert—it was a cultural celebration. A show packed with timeless hits, raw energy, and heartfelt performances, it reminded everyone that great music never fades. This tour was for the fans, and it proved that the sounds of the 2000s still hold a powerful place in our hearts.
