On April 12, FLO, the UK girls group comprised of Stella Quaresma, Jorja Douglas, and Renée Downer, landed in Houston in support of their debut album Access All Areas and first-ever tour of the same name. The night started with electric excitement as the crowd filled into the House of Blues to see the group perform their album for the first time. Fans came dressed in fashion-forward fits and paid homage to the group wearing UK streetwear trends, ready for a night to remember.

Chxrry opened the show, lighting up the stage from the moment she walked on. She delivered fan favorites like “Poppin Out,” “More,” and the crowd-pleaser “Do It.” Midway through her set, she became emotional, moved by the overwhelming love from the audience. With tears in her eyes, she told the crowd how much she loved Houston and how she’d never felt this kind of support at a show before.
After Chxrry’s heartfelt performance, the energy in the room only grew as the audience buzzed in anticipation for FLO. When the lights dimmed, three doors lit up in pink and red accents appeared on stage, each with its own set of stairs. It was theatrical, almost like each member had their own doorway into our soul.
The show began with the “This is Flo” intro, narrated by Cynthia Erivo, then launched into bangers like “AAA,” “Walk Like This,” “Check,” and “Fly Girl.” The crowd knew every word, singing along with passion. You could tell Flo felt that love—it lit up their faces.
Throughout the night, FLO commanded the stage with infectious energy, flawless harmonies, and impressive vocal range. Their breath control and live vocals were on point, showing how much work they’ve put into refining their stage presence. They didn’t just meet expectations—they surpassed them, sounding even better live than on the record.

During intermission, Houston’s own Josh Levi took the stage and immediately captivated the crowd with his hit “Dance,” as fans joined in with the viral TikTok moves. He followed it up with more jams, including his new single “Feel the Ba$s.” Being back home clearly meant the world to him, and it showed.
FLO returned, and what made the second half even more special was that each interlude continued to be narrated by Cynthia Erivo, adding elegance and storytelling to the experience. They performed more favorites like “On & On” and “Losing You,” and closed with their biggest hits, “In My Bag” and “Cardboard Box.” After saying goodbye, the stage remained dim as the crowd roared for more.
Then, just when it seemed the night was over, the lights came back on and FLO returned for a final encore: “I’m Just a Girl.”
This concert was a powerful reminder that R&B is alive and well. Real music, real vocals, and real heart still resonate. FLO’s talent, growth, and genuine spirit were front and center, and it’s clear their future is incredibly bright.
