The Hot Corner: Plays for Wednesday, June 7th

Yesterday was tough - close to a positive day. The target is to profit even a little bit on tough days. Back to the lab!

Michael Wacha O5.5 Ks +106

*SEA strikes out 26.1% vs RHP in L30

*SEA allows 3rd most Ks in L3 (12)

*5 strike out targets in the lineup

Wacha is by no means a 'strike out pitcher' but this is great spot against a very K-friendly lineup. He had 8 against the Cubs who are similar in the K department.

Jon Gray U5.5 Ks +100

*STL strikes out 20.4% vs RHP in L30

*STL allows 6th least Ks in Le (6.67)

*3 strike out targets in the lineup

Gray has been dealing as of late but this match up should keep him in check. STL has been struggling as of late but that lineup is capable of turning it on.

Logan Webb O5.5 Ks +124

*COL strikes out an average of 10.67 in L3

*COL strikes out 21.4% vs RHP in L30

*4 strike out targets in the lineup

This isn't a perfect analytical profile read as well as the flight of balls in Coors field but Webb is pitching in a 'Cy Young' rate. This should continue and at those odds - it is worth the risk.
