Sinéad Harnett, English singer and songwriter, graced the House of Blues Houston for her 2024 Boundaries Tour, which showcased hits from her newest album Boundaries, and plenty of throwbacks, too! The Boundaries album – an ode to putting yourself first and achieving self-love – was released in April and is followed by the long-awaited tour spanning across North America and Europe.

Hamzaa, the sensational East London singer-songwriter, opened the show with an upbeat song titled “Hard To Love” from her 2019 EP Phases. From her perfectly curated setlist to her undeniably vibrant stage presence, Hamzaa quickly captivated the crowd and got the energy flowing throughout the venue. We were gifted with more than seven tracks from Hamzaa’s growing pop-soul meets R&B discography and can’t wait to see what she does next.
After Harnett’s vulnerable Boundaries album trailer video about healing the inner child and honoring self-love engulfed the audience on the big screen, she emerged from the back alongside the stunning sunset stage imagery to a smooth and sensual tune titled “Shoulder” about finding and embracing true love. Harnett then transitioned smoothly into our favorite 2024 singles “Thinking Less” and “The Most” from Boundaries before serenading souls back to 2017 with faves from her debut album Chapter One, 2019’s Lessons in Love and 2021’s Ready is Always Too Late.
One truly unforgettable highlight of the show was the mesmerizing acoustic medley with star guitarist, Antonio Loomis, which featured an immaculately-composed arrangement of songs ranging from “Stay” and “Heal You” to “Hard 4 Me 2 Love You” and a few other hits we won’t spoil for you.
Harnett continued to WOW the crowd with a high-energy cover of Aaliyah’s “Are You That Somebody” before getting the crowd jumping – literally – with the Sonny Fodera remix of “Unconditional” featuring star drummer, Tatum. Harnett took a brief intermission before returning to perform the encore segment with more gems like “Where You Been Hiding” and the world-renowned “If You Let Me” as the show finisher, leaving everyone in the room on a melodic high.
