Kranium 'Toxic' (Review)
I was excited to find out that Kranium recently released a project. The NYC-raised Dance Hall artist, Kranium has come along way since his smash hit in 2013 “Nobody Needs to Know”. On February 12th, Kranium released an EP called ‘Toxic’ and the project is the perfect vibe for Valentine’s Day.
We need the pandemic to end so that we can hear this incredible music outside…
Toxic is the perfect mix of love and sex. Honestly, the music perfectly described the title of the project. ‘Toxic’ starts off with Kranium’s hit single Gal Policy which released in March 2020, almost a year ago. He follows up the single with a record called Through the Window. This record would go crazy at a party. OPEN THE STREETS.
The third record on the project is Toxic. Toxic is perfectly placed. After back to back party records. Toxic slows things down and Kranium describes one of his relationships. Won’t Judge is the fourth song on the project, this is definitely a slower, vibe type of record. He talks to a woman in the whole record. He is lowkey “dirty maccin“ but I guess I won’t Judge…
The last record is Block Traffic featuring Rytikal. This record is 10 out of 10! Block Traffic is about a woman who literally stops traffic because she is so fine. We can all relate to that. The lyrics coupled with the production is what puts the record over the edge.
I do not want to be the first to say it but its time start including Kranium’s in the pool with the elite dance hall artists currently. He has come along way from just being a one hit wonder. I suggest everyone listen to this EP. The project is short and nothing but good vibes.
ENJOY!
