Trevor Jackson Brings Flaming Hot Show to Houston on His ‘It’s Complicated’ Tour

Trevor Jackson lit up the stage at the House of Blues in Houston for his It’s Complicated Tour. He was welcomed by an eager crowd anticipating an unforgettable night with the singer/songwriter.

He opened the show with his song “Guy On The Side,” preparing the audience to receive a more in-depth connection with his music. Trevor Jackson captured the room with his smooth vocals and undeniable stage presence. There was no denying the connection between Trevor and his audience, screaming in excitement for the artist.

After the melody quieted down, Trevor took a moment to thank Houston for being the best city on his tour so far. He embraced the fact that he could walk normally again after a recent leg injury in 2024, which prevented him from touring earlier. Trevor expressed gratitude for finally being able to sing his music for and with his fans in different cities, with Houston being the #1 place he enjoyed the most.

Continuing the show, the acoustic setting brought a heartfelt intimacy between Trevor Jackson and his audience. The dynamic energy and Jackson’s vocal range electrified the whole room throughout his performances of “Be What You Want,” “Jog Your Memory,” and a fan favorite, “Find Out.”

Trevor took a moment throughout the show to perform his viral covers from “TMIX,” or Trevor Mixes,” similar to a few seen on social media. The singer has showcased his vocal talents on popular covers of Coco Jones's “ICU,” Summer Walker’s “Heart of a Woman,” Chris Brown’s “Under The Influence,” and Tyla’s “Water.” While playing the guitar through each melody, Trevor displayed raw intensity with his passionate expressions, completely lost in the music. The moment felt exhilarating, elevating the compassion and love for his voice.

With a winter freeze on the horizon, the packed venue filled with people from wall to wall, made the place even warmer since House Of Blues had the heater on. It only intensified when Trevor took off his shirt, sending the ladies of the crowd into a frenzy, screaming at the top of their lungs. Trevor began to sing his single “Right Now” and the women in the front row went crazy, grabbing and reaching to touch his body.

Ending the show, the crowd chanted and screamed “Encore” for the singer to return to the stage for more music. Unbeknown to them, Trevor came back to greet his fans, but to also express gratitude with his close friends and family accompanying him on stage. Then concluding the night with one last melody, Trevor performed “Bouncin” as the last song from his album, and the last song of the night.
