The Hot Corner: Plays for Friday, June 15th

Yesterday I was only able to get one play out due to me attending the Dodger game (kicking myself for not taking Cease over).

Plus money win regardless so hope you cashed.

Back to the lab we go!

Cole Irvin O4.5 Ks +114

*CHC avg 9.33 Ks in L3

*CHC strikes out 28.8% vs LHP in L30

*6 strike out targets in the lineup

Irvin hovers around 4-5 Ks this season so a plus matchup like this seems too easy

Dinelson Lamet U4.5 Ks -108

*ATL strikes out 20.8% vs RHP in L30

*ATL strikes out least in L3 (5.67)

*3 strike out targets in the lineup

Lamet is facing a strong lineup in the Braves and should be hard pressed to throw 5+ Ks. Take the under with confidence.

Martin Perez U3.5 Ks -150

*TOR strikes out 17.2% vs LHP in L30

*TOR allows 2nd least Ks in L3 (6.67)

*1 strike out target in the lineup

3.5 lines are always tricky but I have a lot of confidence in this Blue Jays lineup to get Perez out the game earlier.

Rich Hill O5.5 Ks -130

*MIL strikes out 25.1% vs LHP in L30

*MIL strikes out 3rd most in L3 (11.33)

*5 strike out targets in the lineup

'Dick Mountain' has been striking out batters left and right & against this Brewers lineup we should continue to see more of the same.

Andrew Abbott U4.5 Ks -145

*HOU strikes out 19.9% vs LHP in L30

*HOU avg 8.33 Ks in L3

*2 strike out targets in the lineup

Abbott is a very capable young arm who is one to monitor this season but against the Astros I like them to get to him for his first runs allowed.
