Indeed “The Process” is un-guardable. He’s scoring at a career high level with 28.6ppg on 55/42/84 shooting splits. Doc Rivers has not shied away from what ultimately works; let Joel dominate the post. Embiid’s arsenal allows him to shoot from the perimeter at an efficient clip, making him a force within bounds.
January’s Player of the Month explained that his newborn son is his motivation. “I want him to grow up and see his father be at the top of his game, the best in the game.” Embiid is having a remarkable individual season to start, but a championship is his only goal.
