The internet & the youth run hip-hop. If a song, album, or music video doesn’t connect with the new generation it tends to not do well. This is probably why Christ Dillinger has been rising in the underground scene as of late.
Dillinger is apart of the collective Spider Gang, which currently is based in New York. However, the type of hip-hop they’re putting out is nothing like the rest of the music we’ve heard coming out of the five boroughs. The group is unique, funny, unapologetic, and most importantly, young. The energy and fanbase they have accumulated is very reminiscent of Lil Peep’s old group, GothBoiClique.
