Destin Conrad's 2024 SUBMISSIVE TOUR

Destin Conrad graced the city of Houston on his first-ever headlining tour! Hosted at The Bronze Peacock at the House of Blues on Monday, February 5, guests eagerly piled into the venue hours ahead of show time in support of the Tampa native. 

Conrad’s SUBMISSIVE TOUR follows his recently released album, SUBMISSIVE2, featuring crowd-favorites such as “It’s Only You,” “Life Been Lifin’,” “If I Lie,” and “Same Mistake ft. Alex Isley,” to name a few.

Former classmate, Tampa native and alternative R&B artist, Amaria, opened the SUBMISSIVE TOUR with mesmerizing mellow sounds from both her debut album, Bittersweet as well as her sophomore album, All For You” Being her first-ever time in Houston, Texas, Amaria set the mood effortlessly with her soft, sexy sultry songs like, “Lose Control,” and “Lying To You,” that had the crowd fully enthralled from start to finish. Amaria is well on her way to stealing the hearts of lo-fi, neo-soul lovers across the world.

Once Conrad hit the stage, the energy in the venue was indescribable. He gave us tons of energy coming out to “Off Dat Shit Freestyle” from SUBMISSIVE which certainly set the vibe for the night. He followed up with “Luv N Devotion” and then took us back to 2022 with “On 10” from SATIN. Seeing Conrad in his element was an unforgettable moment and experience that can’t be duplicated. The crowd sang along to every song—word-for-word, bar-for-bar. As mentioned above, his set list included a variety of tracks from SUBMISSIVE2, SUBMISSIVE, SATIN and COLORWAY. Amaria later joined Destin for “All For You,” a sensual masterpiece from her recent project, All For You, released in 2023. Together, the duo was a breath of fresh air.

Of course, Conrad couldn’t end the night without blessing the crowd with one of his most-streamed songs to date, “In The Air,” from COLORWAY. With that, the night was complete and everyone left feeling like they were on cloud nine.
